The 12 Best Yoga Teacher Trainings in Thailand in 2019

There are plenty of reasons thousands flock to the culture-packed cities, exotic jungles, and stunning beaches of Thailand for their Yoga Teacher Trainings. Thailand is home to the famous Full Moon Party, majestic waterfalls, culture-rich communities, daring zip-lines, and amazing view-points. Not only do you get a taste of what it’s like to travel to a new and exciting country, but Thailand has some of the BEST Yoga Teacher Trainings in the world. Whether your goal is to deepen your yoga practice, learn how to teach, challenge your mind and body, or even find yourself- with over 80 trainings in Thailand, you’re sure to find the one for you.

1. All Yoga Training Thailand

all yoga teacher training

Okay obviously I’m biased- I graduated from All Yoga in May 2018 and it was one of the best experiences of my life! After thoroughly researching for over two months, this is the place I decided to go and I have no regrets!

All Yoga Training’s main focus is Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. Ashtanga mean’s ‘8 limbs’, which you will study alongside the physical practice; Vinyasa is pairing breath with movement. This style of yoga really aligned with what I generally did on my own mat at home or in classes. They also teach Yoga Philosophy, Anatomy/Physiology, and meditation- often with special guest teachers flying in. All Yoga’s core group of teachers are very experienced, knowledgeable, patient, and respectful. They make sure to make you feel right at home while simultaneously making you push yourself and sweat! The curriculum is very comprehensive and can be found on their website.

As far as accommodations- All Yoga provides a free dorm for the first 10 people to sign up. If you’re not among the first 10 don’t worry, the dorm at the Beam is very inexpensive- you can also stay in one of their traditional or modern bungalows. As nice as the bungalows are, I recommend the dorm since it allows you to bond with the fellow students and create unforgettable experiences. I was also very drawn to the authentic feel the dorms had- much more exciting than staying at a pristin resort. I truly felt like I got to experience Thailand the way it should be! Located in a lush jungle right up from the most stunning beach, All Yoga offers the best of both worlds. This training really has it all and is the perfect balance of hard work and fun- you’ll walk out with your certificate with enough confidence and energy to start teaching!

About Haley Walrath

Avatar Haley received her 200-hr RYT from All Yoga Thailand in May 2018. She went to college for English and Creative Writing, where she was an editor for the Painted Cave Literary Magazine. She then followed another of her passions and went to Culinary school to pursue a life working with food. After working at several restaurants, she found kitchen life to be an overly competitive and toxic environment. Haley decided to leave professional cooking behind to go after the one thing that had always been there for her when life got dark- yoga. For several years she found inner peace and purpose on her mat. After starting a blog called Struggle With Haley (a self-care blog that aimed to help other women feel less alone on their journeys to health and happiness), she decided to attend yoga training in Thailand. Haley now hopes to combine her loves of writing, cooking, traveling, and yoga into a new blog- eventually teaching yoga online while she travels the world.
