Yoga Teacher Training Testimonials & Reviews
This course was life changing in so many ways. Not only did my physical asana practice evolve, but my outlook on life changed. Yoga is so much more than a physical practice. I am able to integrate many things into my daily life and I am excited to continue these healthy habits. I'm so grateful for the teachers and the lifelong friends I was able to make. Nusa Lembongan is also a beautiful location and I'm so happy I was able to call it home for a month.
I came to All Yoga in Lembongan with little Yoga (asana) practices and experience. It was quite daunting at first, but very quickly I was welcomed with such warmness and kindness from David, Lauren and Louise. I give massive thanks to all three, giving such positive, impactful practices to the class; every single day. Without their consistent effort, support and wealth of experience and knowledge, I wouldn’t walk out as a confident new teacher today!
This course made a huge impact on me and my fellow teachers, who have become new international friends. We now have endless tools to go out and teach! Forever thankful and grateful.
Wowza! In a hot minute the course is over and I feel stronger, calmer and ready to share and teach yoga to others. The training is physically intense (your body will hurt for the first few days) ... But you truly feel and see the results of your hard Work... ! I can do pincha now... (Almost).
You begin teaching right away with a whole group, small group and one-to-one sessions...gaining knowledge and confidence as you go.
David, Lauren and Louise are fantastic teachers and supporters. They shared their knowledge, skills and kindness with us throughout...and I can't imagine a better team. I feel very lucky to have shared this experience with them and my ashtanga pals.
Very well structured and designed ! Felt very professional, the teachers were amazing. I got exactly what I wanted. I will recommend this training to anyone who is interested in yoga. And also the place Nusa Lembongan is beautiful. Thank you for everything, I learned so much, can’t wait to do the next 300h training. Love to all!
I enjoyed most the new tool to work at myself, new tools for my daily life to live with more consciousness, more happy, more acceptance for me and my life. I like that everything in Ashtanga (and so in the training) makes sense ! At the end everything fits perfectly together: the breathing, the Asanas, the meditations... Wonderful!
The training gave us a systematic introduction to Ashtanga Yoga. As I have been exploring Yoga independently before the training, I sometimes found it confusing when it comes to different styles of yoga, best practice and ideology. I feel confident to share knowledge with my students regarding the history, philosophy and ways of yoga. I particularly enjoyed the Asana Clinics where we break down each pose and understand the best alignment. With this knowledge I was able to deepen my practice by exploring different parts of the body. If there is one thing that I would suggest for change, it would be to recruit students with similar length and style of practice so that it’s easier to cater to learner differences in the classes.
What is Yoga for you ?
That was the first question the teacher asked us. At first, it was a lot about physical sensations and I wondered how to align that practice with my mind. After this amazing experience, Yoga for me is much more!
It is the time to recharge, to refill, to recover until I am me again. Getting on my mat means showing up for myself and checking in for myself. We rarely take the time during the day to stop and ask ourselves how we are feeling. The time on my mat is the time for me just to do that and this is really precious.
I dare, need and like to dream. I let my imagination roam free on my mat as in my life. We are as free as we allow ourselves to be. For me, Yoga is the time I start to quiet my little monkey mind and just be, feel all the feels - the good and the bad - and face the things I’ve ran away from. Yoga is my reminder to be present. Life moves far too quickly to be living in a time other than this moment. Thanks a lot!
I couldn’t imagine that it would be possible for me to teach and more than that, to teach yoga and more than that, to teach yoga in english.
When I decided to join the training, I didn’t know what to expect. I was a bit scared as far as I wasn’t (and still not) an expert. Also, I was a bit scared because I would probably be one of the oldest and I am a really introvert person.
Everybody, teachers and students, gave me the place and the space and I felt myself as a real part of it. I very quickly figured out that we are/were all of us there for the same aim: yoga and deepening our practice and knowledge about it. Everyone was so supportive.
I liked the way we practiced, we met everyday, worked hard and the way we are all part of a team, the yoga family. Thanks to you for making it come true.
I had an amazing adventure with All yoga. I loved the way they builded the course, a very clever way of learning. I especially loved the asana clinics, going deeper into the movement/pose for teaching purposes and for deepening my own practice. I loved the energy and passion from the teachers , you feel their enthusiasm for yoga. I love that.
The course was everything and more !
It challenges you mentally, it challenges physically and challenges you emotionally.
Through the course I have learned so much that I am glad I have every note and resource to reflect back and remind me. I feel confident to start my teaching and develop further, while also excited to continue my training into 300h, maybe with AllYoga!
Constructively: midway through the course it would be nice to receive feedback from teachers to understand progression, improvements and positives.
