Previously trained as a dancer, Amy came to yoga to seek respite and heal her body after suffering serious health issues as a young adult. Her love for the practice and passion for health and well-being soon became the forefront of her work and studies.

Curious to deepen her understanding of yoga’s history and philosophy, Amy is currently studying at SOAS, University of London for an MA in Traditions of Yoga and Meditation. Her current research is within modern yogas integration into healthcare systems.

Amy teaches group yoga classes and workshops in and around Brighton, England. Additionally, she holds private classes from her home studio where she specializes in teaching yoga for burnout, stress and chronic fatigue.

In her personal practice, Amy enjoys the balance of both advanced dynamic yoga asana as well as gentle restorative yoga. She is an avid reader and committed to continuous self-study. Fascinated by the connection between our physical health and the health of our environment, she explores this through her project The Moon Space.
