Pierina was born in Costa Rica, a well-known yoga and ecotourism destination in Central America. She was always interested in movement and fitness to keep her body healthy and strong. But she realized that to have a fulfilled life you need to exercise much more than just the physical body. Looking for that ‘something’ that was missing, she discovered yoga 4 years ago and it has been part of her life ever since. She quit her full time job and embarked on her first solo adventure to join a 200 Hr YTT with All Yoga Thailand.

She was absorbed by everything yoga teaches us; the physical aspect, the philosophy, the energetic bodies, how it all correlates to each other and guides you to your true self. It was one of the most life-changing experiences she has ever had. With a unique latin flavor, Pierina brings a fun, upbeat, joyful energy to her classes. She aims for the students to leave each practice feeling refreshed, empowered and more in-tune with themselves; carrying a smile on their faces.

Wendy’s background and interest in eastern and western philosophy led her to explore and study the workings of the mind, body and subtle energies of the universe. After exploring the philosophies and meditation from several traditions, she found her peace in Zen meditation and yoga. This helped Wendy to realize her true calling: to teach and share what she has learnt about yoga and meditation. Having diverse trainings in yoga, philosophy, meditation, anatomy and therapy, Wendy seeks a balanced and complete view of one’s practice and spiritual development.

Founder and director of Yoga Seeds (Singapore), Wendy hosts regular yoga retreats and conducts trainings in locations all over Asia. She is the lead trainer and program director for Yoga Seeds 200 hr Teaching Training course. When Wendy’s not traveling, she’s back home in Singapore, teaching in various settings, including corporate yoga classes, yoga for children, private yoga sessions, regular studio sessions and also community classes for the underprivileged. In fact, she teaches anywhere that she can unroll her mat! An ambassador for Yoga Gives Back, she organizes regular fundraisers and classes for charity and is deeply committed to giving back to the community. Her style of yoga is a unique blend of Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, with emphasis on the breath in both movement and stillness.

Vari was born in New York and grew up in the Bronx. Both of his parents immigrated from Puerto Rico and he learned at an early age that life has its challenges. In his 20s, he was seeking spiritual growth and looked for meaning and purpose in life, so he volunteered at Kripalu Center for 1 year of Karma yoga. During his time at Kripalu, Vari studied with many teachers and learned about various philosophies in yoga and Thai massage. He delved into studies about energy, breath work, observing self, intentions, letting go; allowing yoga to work its subtle magic, see our true selves, and experience pure unlimited potential. Vari’s teaching style is influenced from his many years of yoga practice, experiences at Kripalu and numerous pilgrimages to India while he studied in Mysore, Rishikesh, and Dharamsala.

Vari’s teaching philosophy is rooted in the mindful connection to breath regardless of the style of yoga one is practicing. As breath is life, nothing else is possible without it. For nearly a decade, Vari has been a dedicated yoga teacher sharing his passion and inspiring others on a daily basis. Traveling internationally, he teaches in the USA, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Central America and Europe.

Currently residing in Chiang Mai, Thailand, every day he is grateful for his students and the ability to continue along this wonderful journey. Vari is known for his warmth and charisma, powerful energy, effective hands-on adjustments, chanting, and inspirational talks. His classes are a truly transformational experience!

Corey was born in Taiwan and lived in North America for over 20 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. Corey is a certified personal trainer and competed in multiple bodybuilding competitions. He worked as an engineer for 16 years, climbing smoothly up the corporate ladder, and at one time even considered yoga a “sissy sport”. He also considered himself the least spiritual person in the world.

However, one day his life was turned upside down due to some personal tragedies. In his darkest hours, he stumbled across yoga. The world as he knew it, changed completely. He was shocked to realize he was living in such darkness, lacking any awareness of it. Corey felt like a baby opening his eyes for the first time. He learned how to release energy, emotions, and negative thoughts. He no longer felt burdened by the stereotypical notions of how to be “masculine”.

Yoga has been such a lifechanging journey for Corey that he decided to dedicate his life to it. After receiving his teaching certificate from YYoga in Vancouver and completed Advanced Rocket Yoga Training, he was hired by a major yoga studio in Taipei. He’s had the opportunity to study with Chuck Miller, Maty Ezraty, Kino MacGregor, Doug Swenson and others. Corey now teaches Ashtanga, Rocket, Yin and Hot yoga, and offers workshops. His teaching retains a strong emphasis on yoga philosophy, because after all, it was the very reason why he was originally attracted to this therapeutic and transformative practice.

Arki is a native of Taiwan. She started her yoga practice as an alternative form of exercise, though initially she was unimpressed. Arki had attended very gentle classes and felt that it was too easy and there was too little sweating or exertion to be considered beneficial as “exercise”. Everything changed when she went to her first Rocket Yoga class. Even though at the time she was still unable to perform many of the postures, she knew it was something special that she’d never experienced before.

Arki dedicated herself to the yoga practice and it became such a passion that she decided to quit her job and join the All Yoga 200 Hour Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher training and began her teaching career. Working with Corey Wu, Arki is now runs the All Yoga Taiwan teacher training program.

Arki currently practices under the instruction of KPJAY certified Ashtanga teacher Daniel Wu. She also completed Sarah Powers’ Mindfulness Yin teacher training, and also teaches Yin, Ashtanga and Rocket Yoga. Arki believes that if you put your heart and soul into each practice, the presence and awareness is the best reward one can possibly receive.
