Led by experienced trainers, our 200hr yoga teacher training in Mexico is based in the fundamental elements of Ashtanga, Dharma, Rocket and Vinyasa Yoga.
Our mission is to help you to become a skillful practitioner and teacher by providing you the authentic teachings of Hatha and Raja Yoga. Your teaching journey begins with this 3-week intensive where you’ll be living life of a yogi.
Each day we’ll explore and practice silent meditation, pranayama, asana, yoga history & philosophy, anatomy, practice teaching and much more.
The intention of this course is to unveil to you the profound meaning of yoga which is self-realization. Your transformative lifelong spiritual journey begins on the first day of this yoga teacher training.

The evening is an opportunity to complete homework, review daily course materials, reading scripture, practice meditation and journaling. In addition, you can enjoy the resort amenities like the swimming pool, beach and restaurant.
Minimal 6 months of consistent yoga practice is required. Consistent yoga practice means 3-4x per week in the style of Ashtanga, Dharma, Vinyasa and other similar yoga styles.

Annie travels around the world including Mexico, US, Canada, Thailand and Bali leading workshops, classes, trainings and retreats. She has certified over 190 yoga teachers worldwide. Annie holds a Bachelor Degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia. Specializes in yoga anatomy, she infuses anatomy knowledge in her yoga classes to help students practice more intelligently and avoid injuries. Annie has the ability to lead a dynamic class filled with inversions with a duality of restorative and healing sequences.
Annie teaches Dharma, Ashtanga, Rocket, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga. She is a true believer in finding what style of yoga works for you and keep fine-tuning it. As her teacher Sri Dharma says ‘always practice according to your own conditions. She is eternally grateful for her teacher Sri Dharma Mittra, for showing her the most authentic yogic and scriptural knowledge. He has inspired her to lead a simple yogic life and to serve others with compassion and kindness.
Before yoga, she was a professional contemporary dancer and established Au Dance (a dance school for age 2-16) in Vancouver Canada. Her decade long dance career has taken her around the world including some fond memories touring in India, Egypt, Brazil and Germany.
Word Smith has been practicing the esoteric/healing arts for twenty years. During this time he has delved deeply into Massage, Yoga, Qi gong, Chinese Medicine, Buddhist philosophy and Internal Martial Arts. He holds a Doctorate in Medical Qi Gong, and 500 hrs of Yoga Teacher Training in Dharma Yoga, Bachelor’s in Philosophy, a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, certifications in 5 body work styles. His teachers include Paul Pitchford, Michael Tierra, Dr. Jerry Alan Johnson, Geshe Michael Roach and Sri Dharma Mittra.
He currently lives in Sedona, Arizona translating Chinese and Tibetan and travels the world teaching Yoga, Dharma and Qi Gong.
