This is a 24-day comprehensive dual certification program to explore all facets of traditional Hatha Vinyasa & Yin yoga. A complete Yoga Teacher Training experience that is carefully designed to enable you to discover your true Self, open your heart, and embody the teacher within with confidence and grace.

Through the wisdom of the Ancient Tradition of Yoga, you will break away from self-inhibiting thought patterns, strengthen your body, develop equilibrium in your emotions and radiate your mind.

The training is grounded in the fluid, rhythmic Vinyasa flow with an emphasis on linking internal awareness with external body movement. As well, we respect the way of traditional Hatha yoga and its powerful healing practices: kriyas (cleansing techniques), asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breath extension), dhyana (concentration), and dharana (meditation).

Course Overview

This training includes a 50hr Yin yoga & meridians teaching certification. Dive into the deeply nourishing practice of Yin, the perfect complement to the Yang practice. Learn the fundamentals of Yin yoga practice, how it can break free our emotional obstacles and create balance and space in our body, mind and spirit.

While respecting the yogic traditions, we also combine functional training methods to help you progress faster in your personal yoga practice and to ensure you become a safe teacher that eliminates the chance of injury in your students. We will also examine the importance of holistic nutrition in a non-dogmatic framework with an emphasis on self-nourishment and non-violence.

Dive deep into the theory of Yin yoga and Chinese meridians. You’ll build a strong knowledge base in both sectors. This training highlights the following topics:

Annie Au Yoga Teacher Lead Trainer for Yin Annie Au

Based in Sri Lanka, Annie travels around the world including Mexico, France, Australia, Canada, Thailand and Bali teaching 200hr & 300hr yoga teacher training. With gratitude, Annie studies with Sri Dharma Mittra and has attended the 500hr and 800hr Life of a Yogi Teacher Training (LOAY) in New York City in 2015 and 2016.

Yoga Alliance Certification

Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a 200hr Yoga Alliance accredited teaching certification and Yin yoga certification. You must complete the mandatory contact hours and achieve a satisfactory result in the final practicum to be certified. We are accredited by Yoga Alliance US.

Pre-Training Recommendations

To prepare for this training, we highly recommend taking regular yoga classes in Vinyasa flow or Power-based yoga styles 3-4 times per week. The training is physically demanding and priming your body prior to arrival would enhance your experience tremendously. Also becoming familiar with the Sanskrit names of basic postures will be advantageous.

Upon registration, we will be sending you a list of recommended books. These books include topics on Yoga philosophy, anatomy and soulful reflections.

Yoga in Bali

Nusa Lembongan is a pristine island located just 30 min from Sanur, Bali. Enjoy authentic culture and a tropical climate in this relaxed setting. The idyllic beachfront shala will have you practicing to the sound of waves and gentle sea breezes. The evenings have glorious sunsets that easily inspire inward focus, mindful reflection and deep meditation.

Our new shala is located on the sandy beach of Jungut Batu, Nusa Lembongan. The space was thoughtfully designed to facilitate the exploration and integration of yoga in everyday living. The traditional thatched roofing is naturally ventilated with openings on three sides. Feel the warmth of the tropics with regular breezes to keep it comfortable.

Accommodation

Even though Nusa Lembongan is a quiet little island, there are many accommodation options for everyone. Whether you’re on a tight budget or are looking for a luxurious getaway including full services, you’ll find an array of choices within easy distance of the yoga shala.

Within a couple of hundred meters in any direction you can find a room for as little as 25USD. Rooms on the beach can be found for around $20-50. If you venture further out, you’ll have even more variety of options.

On the south end of Jungut Batu beach are high-end villas with world class facilities and amenities. The views from here down Jungut Batu beach towards Mt Agung are absolutely breathtaking.

The area offers plenty of restaurants to choose from. they are all within a walking distance from the shala. Delicious Balinese cuisine, international food, vegetarian and raw options are available. Price for a dish start from 4USD.

Anna Martin

Anna is Australian based yoga teacher and studio owner. As a teacher trainer she is based in the Southern Hemisphere, most recently assisting an Advanced 300 hour training in Sri Lanka. Since her first 200 hour teacher training she has gone onto complete two 300 hour Advanced Teacher Trainings, one in Fluid Vinyasa and the other in Yinyasa with Mathieu Boldron. Anna is also a movement generalist with certifications in Animal Flow, Functional Range Conditioning and Kinstretch.

Anna studied a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Movement (anatomy, physiology, biomechanics) from Charles Sturt University, Australia. She has also completed a comprehensive training in epigenetics the Ph360. Her teaching has a strong base in anatomical and physiological alignment and adjustment, she is fascinated by the miracle that is the human body.

Anna wants to share her passion for yoga and living with you during this transformative journey. When you don’t see her playing with inversions on her mat you will find her out on her surfboard riding the natural energy of Mother Nature.

Anna has a fun, firey and playful teaching smile that will have you in a full body smile.

Aaron Wickramasekara

Born in Sri Lanka, Aaron is a RYT-500 yoga teacher , personal trainer and a body transformation coach. Aaron offers a deep knowledge from his diverse studies including yoga, personal fitness coaching and professional muay thai kickboxing., Aaron through his personal experience has spent countless hours researching and spent over nine years perfecting his knowledge in the fitness field all while mastering the application of it in almost every possible training method technique and diet imaginable. Aaron now travels around the world teaching in countries such as France, Mexico , Bali , Sri Lanka and Thailand conducting Yoga teacher trainings in collaboration with Annie Au.

As a teacher, Aaron`s goal is to help you understand the values and the potential growth you can experience by building a daily yoga practice both on the mat and off.

Annie Au

Based in Sri Lanka, Annie travels around the world including Mexico, France, Australia, Canada, Thailand and Bali teaching 200hr & 300hr yoga teacher training. With gratitude, Annie studies with Sri Dharma Mittra and has attended the 500hr and 800hr Life of a Yogi Teacher Training (LOAY) in New York City in 2015 and 2016. She offers an integrative Yin Yoga and Chinese Meridians teacher training infusing the ancient wisdom of Daoism, traditional Chinese medicine, and Yoga/Buddhist philosophy. Annie has certified over 200 yoga teachers worldwide. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia, Canada. Specializes in yoga anatomy, Annie’s approachable teaching method in yoga anatomy helps students to understanding better the human body and therefore practice more intelligently. Annie can lead a dynamic class filled with inversions with a duality of restorative and healing yin sequences.

Before yoga, she was a professional contemporary dancer and established Au Dance ( a dance school for age 2-16) in Vancouver Canada. Her decade-long dance career has taken her around the world including some fond memories touring in India, Egypt, Brazil, and Germany.
